Adding Ing Worksheet

This worksheet will help students learn more about action words or verbs and how to express each word in the current state.  Enter in up to 10 words and each word will have a dotted line next to it.  Request students to simply add an "ing" to the end of each word.  For advanced students, use trickier words such as "bicycle" where the word has to be modified slightly before adding "ing" but make sure you provide the detailed instructions in the instruction field.

1) Color in the balloons according to the word in each balloom
2) Color all the animal balloon in brown and the food balloons in green.
3) Only color in balloons with verbs.

The possibilities are endless.  Just be creative with your instructions and the kids will have a blast.
